Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission ( UPSSSC ) has announced the dates for Preliminary Eligibility Test ( UPSSSC PET ) 2021. The commission has released a notice on the official website stating that the UPSSSC PET is going to be persisted on August 20, 2021. Candidates preparing for the exam can check the notice on the official website. As per the notice, the exam is going to be held in two shifts.

As per reports, 20,73,540 candidates have already applied for UPSSSC PET 2021. The commission is getting to conduct the most exam within the month of October after completing the preliminary examination in August.

Notice Issued By The Authorities

According to reports, the choice was taken after a gathering between the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh , Shri Yogi Adityanath, and therefore the Chairman of the Commission, Praveer Kumar. Important Details About The Exam

1. UPSSSC PET 2021 exam is going to be for 2 hours.

2. Candidates need to answer 100 multiple choice questions of 100 marks, each question carries a 01 mark.

3. The board has made a provision of negative marking, 0.25 marks are going to be deducted for every wrong answer.

4. Questions are going to be asked from subjects associated with General Awareness, Current Affairs, General Hindi, Elementary Mathematics, Reasoning, etc.

5. The application process for UPSSSC PET 2021 started on May 25, 2021, and ended on the summer solstice, 2021.

6. The last date for creating corrections within the form was June 28.
